Thanks again NHS

My brother had an 11 hour operation on Wednesday, Very tricky one. The surgeons were brilliant, nurses were fantastic, 4 days on he is in intensive care unit, he is now breathing on his own but he is having some sedation as he has so many tubes etc. that they should not be disturbed. Our NHS is simply wonderful, would never be able to thank them enough. I know people hear bad stories but no one talks about their many more successes. I am simply in awe of the dedication and expertise of those who work for the NHS.

Very cold & wet here in Shropshire but at least the days are getting longer and lighter. Haven't managed to get out to do any gardening yet so I'm waiting for better weather to get started.
