Went into Shewsbury town, Rob was with me, really to get some exercise. While walking down a street when there was an older man squatting in a doorway with his belongings. He wasn't begging or anything and we asked him if he was okay and if he needed anything? He said he could do with a meal so we gave him some money to get something to eat. He was (as we talked) a real gentleman of the road. He did not want to take part in the rat race and wanted to have freedom in his lfe. This man was very well informed and a joy to talk to. Before we moved on, he said that he would like to give is a gift. He produced a selection of recycled xmas cards. They were decorated with leaves ect. but we had liked to one with his self portrait in the design. So here it is.

Really wonderful!
Now for a little poem.
"Ode to Creepy Crawlies!
Thou still unravished sweeping brush
Thou dustpan of thine
The din is loud, and I thus hush
A crowd of staples that are mine
What cobweb-fringed mess lies on the stairs?
Of spider making, as busy as it can be
In the matter of minutes a web appears
What are the menaces that annoy me?
What creatures lurk among the shelves?
The spiders here are a law unto themselves.
Now for some artwork.

" The Family at the Art Gallery"

Just a imaginative picture of rubbish
Take care everyone & stay safe.xx
